The shawl ministry was established in April 2018. Its purpose is to provide a knitted or crocheted item with a prayer for those who might need a tangible as well as a prayerful sense of support at a particular time in their life.

 

We are looking to set up a regular monthly meeting to enjoy knitting and fellowship together and to pray for those who have received shawls. If you are interested to find out more please get in touch with Hazel Bech.

 

We would welcome donations of knitting yarn and gift bags. Any yarn you have tucked away can be transformed by our knitters. It does not matter how large or small – all donations welcome!

 

If you would like to join the group you will be very welcome. If you would like to knit but cannot come to the meetings please let us know.

 

Those who have received these shawls have been comforted, uplifted and affirmed.
