Campden Baptist Church situated in the lovely Cotswold market town of Chipping Campden is a Christian community whose identity is in God Father, Son and Holy Spirit; we live to glorify Him and make Him known in the world.
Our church family includes people of all ages and from many different backgrounds. This website gives you a flavour of our worshipping life, witness and work of ordinary people who have found faith in Jesus Christ.
Everyone is welcome; especially so if you’re new to the area, looking for a lively church, searching for God, or seeking answers to life’s questions and challenges. We look forward to getting to know you!
There are plenty of activities that happen throughout the week at Campden Baptist Church - we believe that church is not about the building but meeting and serving God in a number of ways especially within our community. However, due to the Conovavirus-19 guidelines, we are no longer able to meet as a large gathering as we are staying home.
The High Street building is open for Foodbank on Fridays, where strict social distancing measures and procedures are in place. The High Street Building will be open for prayer again following strict Government Safety Guidelines from Sunday 19th July for an hour between 3pm-4pm - please contact the team for more information.
We look forward to the time we can welcome each other with open arms but for now please please stay at home and follow the Government Guidelines and pray for all of those who are in the front line, those who have difficult decisions to make and lead us during this unprecedented time.
Due to current Government rules our high street building is closed for Sunday Worship. Whilst we continue to worship together virtually we do encourage you to keep one another in your prayers as we navigate through this unprecedented time.
Please get in touch by email or phone with the ministers if you need or know of any assistance.
Foodbank will still be available in the High Street Building as we believe that this service is urgent and needed for our community particularly at this time.
We will be open from 12.30pm to 1.30pm for donations and for collections - strict social distancing measures, wearing of face masks and use of hand sanitiser are taken of course at this time.
Donations can also be left in the container kindly held at Peridot Digital/Chipping Campden Post Office - thank you for all your amazing donations - please do keep them coming in so we can continue to support those in greatest need. Click here for the food items of greatest need.
Our Sunday gatherings continue to be delivered online - please get in touch if you want to join from wherever you are. Our YouTube channel has the weekly service and a catalog of all the services held online since lockdown in March - also you can access our talks via Soundcloud and listen on the go.
Please be assured that we hold you all in prayer at this time - please get in touch if you have any practical or spiritual needs, we have a team of volunteers who are available to assist you.
The High Street building is open for personal prayer on Sundays between 3pm - 4pm strictly adhering to Government Guidelines - you will be required to wear a mask and use hand sanitiser upon entry to the building and remain at a safe distance at all times.
Please do take a look and listen to talks from our own ministry team as well as our visiting speakers.
If you enjoy listening, then why not come along on a Sunday and hear more, we would love to welcome you.
