ON Saturday 26th October, 7.30 pm in the High Street Church building International singer, comedian and raconteur Jonathan Veira makes a welcome return to Campden for an intimate and personal evening as he relates his story of music, faith and family in a rare chance to see the man behind the music.

Jonathan is a bass-baritone singer, praised as "the quintessence of ‘buffo’, larger than life and utterly credible…touchingly vulnerable…"
He has performed extensively in Europe, New Zealand and the UK, including the opera houses of Geneva, Zurich, Lyon, Nice, Stockholm, Oslo, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival and Tour, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera Holland Park, and at the BBC Promenade Concerts.
Jonathan appeared on television in Death in Venice, Le Nozze di Figaro, Madama Butterfly, The Electrification of the Soviet Union, La Traviata and Königskinder (Humperdinck). Radio broadcasts for BBC Radio 3 have included Tancredi and Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny. He is a regular guest on BBC Radio’s Friday Night Is Music Night and BBC Television’s Songs of Praise.
